- What is Leadership Upper Valley?

- As a non-profit enterprise, Leadership Upper Valley was designed after the acclaimed Leadership New Hampshire model, which, with its Leadership Institute, offers a knowledge-expanding experience of nine day-long sessions (one day per month between September 2009 - May 2010 in addition to a Welcome/Overview session and Graduation) focused on key aspects of regional community life: (1) Economic Development, (2) Education, (3) Government & Politics, (4) the Arts & The Creative Economy, (5) Communication, (6) Health and Human Services, and (7) Transportation.
- It provides the bridge between enduring community values and knowledgeable leadership.

- Who Should Apply?
- Any current or potential leader in his or her community from any walk of life: business owner, artist, stay-at-home parent, teacher, healthcare worker.
- Anyone who wants to learn more about the Upper Valley region.
- Any leader who tries to be more actively engaged in his or her community.
- Anyone who will commit a day a month for nine months, and pay $975, payable either by the participant or the participant’s employer.

- Applications will be accepted for 2010-2011 beginning March 5, 2010 thru May 31, 2010.
