Participants gain knowledge about the history of Leadership Upper Valley, the expectations of the program, and to begin to set
learning goals. Community day also allows participants to gain new insights about
the Upper Valley as well as to get to know fellow participants

Services supporting institutions of Health and Human Service. Understand the needs of
not-for-profit organizations. Learn how to participate as an engaged citizen

add value to a community as well as gain knowledge about land use patterns in
the Upper Valley.

What does an environmentally sustainable Upper Valley look like? We will explore the implications of environmental sustainability on our quality of life and economic vitality. This Triple Bottom Line approach will seek to broaden participant's perspectives on the interplay of environment, economy and community as we address questions relating to air, water, and noise pollution, habitat fragmentation, nature deficit disorder, and the proliferation of invasive plant and animal species.
