The TMA has built a constituency of five municipalities, several major employers, four transit companies and many public citizens all advocating for a new paradigm in transportation planning and investment in our bi-state region.

- Study of the Advance Transit Fixed-Route Bus Network
After careful study in 2005 the UVTMA found the impact of Advance Transit on the City of Lebanon was positive and significant. The study found that over 844,500 vehicle travel miles and 3 ½ tons of air pollutants were reduced because of Advance Transit.

Park and Ride in Grantham
Park-and-Ride Lots help reduce traffic, improve air quality, and
save money for commuters and municipalities. UVTMA has started
meeting with local legislators to inform them about our “mobility
framework.” This involves park and rides and bus service to and from them.
