Box Monitor News
Attention Box Monitors! It is time to get your boxes out for the season. Or if your boxes have been out all winter, it is time to check on them. All boxes need to have at least a hand carved stamp, stamp pad, sign-in book and something to write with. Many boxes have additional fun and informative things in them, feel free to customize your box as you would like.
We will be holding a box replenishment get together next Thursday, April 26 from 3 to 6p.m. here at the office. If you need a new stamp, pad or notebook, or a whole new box, stop by. We will have lots of supplies and cookies and cider too! Our office has moved to a new location. We are now located above the Upper Valley Food Coop at 195 North Main St., White River Junction, VT.
If you would like to become a box monitor contact Laura. We have some fun volunteer opportunities available.

Super Quest 2012 - The Upper Valley Bird Search
Well, you all liked last year's Super Quest so much that we designed another one for you. This year, you are invited to go on 10 bird related Quests. Collect amazing stamp impressions from stamps carved by the very talented Simon Brooks, local artist and storyteller. They all fit together like a puzzle and make a frame-able piece of art. Earn a special bird patch and be entered to win our Grand Prize.
You have from May 1 until Nov. 1 to complete this challenge, so take your time and enjoy yourself and learn lots about birds and their habitats in the Upper Valley.
Register your team and collect your clues on our Super Quest page on the website.

Upcoming Events!
Valley Quest will be at three events in the next few weeks and we hope to see you there. Each of these events are Super Quest sites and you can collect one of the stamps while enjoying the event.
On May 5th, we will be at the Montshire Museum for their annual Ephemeral Zoo, a great spring event! Join us to make a book, carve a stamp and go on a guided Quest.
On May 6th, we will be in Rockingham, Vermont at the Herrick's Cove Wildlife Festival. If you have never been to this event, you should check it out. It is really fun, and this is an incredible birding spot.
And on May 12th, we will be at the International Migratory Bird Day and Super Quest Kick Off at VINS in Quechee, VT.
