Upper Valley TMA Projects

The TMA serves a constituency of five municipalities, several major employers, four transit companies and many public citizens all advocating for a new paradigm in transportation planning and investment in our bi-state region.

The TMA works with towns and businesses on transportation issues and solutions...

Smart Commute aims to promote commuting best practices such as carpooling incentives, van pooling programs, parking management and cycling-pedestrian friendly facilities.
Upper Valley Intermodal Transportation Facility
The TMA and the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission are overseeing the public participation process for a possible public transportation hub in the Upper Valley. If built, the facility will provide a park and ride lot, link multiple bus lines, and make public transportation more accessible to many of our residents and visitors
Park and Ride
Park and Ride lots help reduce traffic, improve air quality, and save money for commuters and municipalities. The TMA meets with local legislators and planners to develop and renovate park and ride lots and to connect bus lines to them.
Mobility Checklist

This checklist helps developers, planners, and town boards understand how to "think beyond the car" and integrate alternative transportation into their plan development. It was created with the help of the Upper Valley's professional planning community.
