- Smart Commute
- The UVTMA assists major local employers plan out their commuting strategies. Currently a pilot project with Mascoma Savings Bank and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Smart Commute aims to promote commuting best practices such as carpooling incentives, van pooling programs, parking management and cycling-pedestrian friendly facilities.
- Upper Valley Intermodal Transportation Facility
- The TMA and the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission are overseeing the public participation process for a possible public transportation hub in the Upper Valley. If built, the facility will provide a park and ride lot, link multiple bus lines, and make public transportation more accessible to many of our residents and visitors
- Park and Ride
- Park and Ride lots help reduce traffic, improve air quality, and save money for commuters and municipalities. The TMA meets with local legislators and planners to develop and renovate park and ride lots and to connect bus lines to them.
- Mobility Checklist
- Winner of the Planning Project of the Year Award from the NH Planners Association in 2008!
This checklist helps developers, planners, and town boards understand how to "think beyond the car" and integrate alternative transportation into their plan development. It was created with the help of the Upper Valley's professional planning community. - Regional Transportation Map
- An integrated route map of all four Upper Valley transit providers. It includes park and rides and close up maps of the Hanover-Lebanon-Hartford region, DHMC, Hanover-Norwich region, Lebanon and White River Junction-Hartford area.
- Parking/Transportation Demand Management Zoning
- The UVTMA worked with the Town of Hanover on an innovative zoning ordinance that enabled businesses interested in reducing single occupancy travel and onsite parking to provide alternatives.

- A Widening Gap: Public Transit Funding in the Upper Valley
- An in-depth study showing the need for additional transit funding.

- After careful study in 2005 the UVTMA found the impact of Advance Transit on the City of Lebanon was positive and significant. The study found that over 844,500 vehicle travel miles and 3 ½ tons of air pollutants were reduced because of Advance Transit.
